Sylvia Chow is a San Francisco-based fashion designer with nearly a decade of experience across multiple categories. Currently Senior Designer at Thirdlove, she brings visionary designs to life through dreaming up new seasonal concepts, perfecting fit, and exploring fabric innovations.

Most recently, she was part of the team behind TempSync™, Thirdlove's thermoregulating intimates line, which landed on Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2025. Throughout her career, she's also worked extensively on licensed collections, bringing major IPs to life through apparel, accessories, and prints. She loves the whole process of turning an idea into a cohesive, impactful collection.

She holds an M.F.A. in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University and a B.A. in Visual Arts Media from UC San Diego, where her undergrad thesis show, BINARY, earned the Theater and Dance Department Chair's Award for Distinguished Service.

Outside of work, Sylvia is a lifelong sci-fi, fantasy, and history nerd who channels that passion into designing theater costumes and cosplay for conventions. She's always up for a good concert, a new restaurant, or an excuse to spoil her pets.
